I am really looking forward to staying home tomorrow. It seems like we don't get to just stay home much any more. I am declaring it a jammie day and making everyone sleep in. Or at least pretend. Marty has to work (of course) but we were smart and did all of our Easter dinner shopping today so unless there is a fire, I'm not leaving the house.
The Easter egg hunt at the Nursing home was fun, too. Alex refused to get his picture taken with the Easter Bunny, but Ethan was more than happy to have his taken. He even sat in on Patrick and Maggie's picture!

The book I am sending my niece this month is too cute! It is one of Maggie's favorite Easter books, and she even read it to the "younger kids" group at lit club!

From Amazon.com:
"Twas the night before Easter, just before dawn, Not a creature was stirring out on the lawn" The Easter bunny takes center stage in this delightful spin on Clement C. Moore's beloved poem that will send families hopping to the bookstore for an Easter treat sweeter than any sugar plum!
My Div. 3 OM team is getting excited about going to State Finals. They are just as nervous, too. There are four teams in our division, for our problem. If you compare the scores from Regionals, we are in 2nd place. Two teams go to Worlds. So, unless either a) the other teams really change what they did and score significantly higher or b) we somehow biff it big time, it looks like there is a descent chance we will be heading to Colorado in May.
On one hand, I want them to have the opportunity to go but on the other hand I am scared for them. They would get their butts handed to them on a silver platter at worlds. Really. They are good, but from what I have heard, not good enough. So it would be great for them to go, but I know it would involve a lot of tears (from Colleen and I during the fundraising part and the team after it is all over.)
But it is a once in a lifetime type deal, so I have no problem raising ungodly amounts of money for them to go and come in last place. I am sure those of you with kids know exactly what I mean.
